logitech mx 5000 and windows 2000

Hi All,
I got the logitech mx5000 keyboard/mouse combo which has a bluetooth connectivity. The software for this product does not support windows 2000 but I am able to use it with win2k native drivers.

The problem:
The mouse seems to have a lot of lag when I connect using this bluetooth adapter. Keyboard seems to be ok, or rather I dont notice any lag. Anybody seen this issue. My older mouse mx1000 with rf connectivity is fantastic. Almost no lag.

Is this a problem with all bluetooth devices? or do you guys think that the drivers need an update?

I think that would be a problem with all bluetooth on the opperating system

This was handled on a other part of the forum.
Read about it there. Ya need some kind of bluetooth patch or somthing like that
