Was curious if anyone uses this mouse with any games.
like CS (Counter-Strike) mainly.

got a new system going with this mouse and it is a pain in the @ss to get CS to work right with it.
sometimes it will move decent, then it will scroll to fast or to slow.
very hard to control in the game.

even tried changing the scroll speed in the game settings, but no matter how i change it, it will do the same thing.

thinking maybe its the pad i'm using.

Reg MousePad: Works fine browsing, but gaming is unstable

Everglide: Works fine for browsing, but gaming is unstable as well

was hoping maybe someone knew a fix for it,or maybe i'm using the wrong type of surface.
used my MS Explorer for quite some time and its smooth as silk in the game.

Heres the Mouse

Dude, are you running Windows XP? If so, the problem you are having is with mouse acceleration, not with the mouse or game itself. It's Windows XP.

Do this: create a shortcut to the CS .exe, and right click on it and at the end of the "Target" line put the following:

-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel

Just like that, and don't delete any of the stuff before the end either. Only add those two commands to the end of the Target line. That should end your mouse acceleration problems if you're running Windows XP and trying to play CS.

You should also be experiencing the refresh rate problem, but if you don't mind playing the game at 60Hz I wouldn't worry about it. But if you want to fix that too check here:
