Ok so I don't know what the hell happened but I fell asleep with my Logitech mouse running, It's been giving me problem's in the past but none like this. I plug the USB into the slot and the computer registers that the USB Drive is there, I turn the mouse on and the bottom light comes on, However it won't work....It's like the mouse refuses to register that it's actually on or something, The top light doesn't come on except for maybe a nano-second and you cant even see it popping on unless your in the dark, I've tried swapping the batteries and I've tried turning it off and then turning it back on.

I cant seem to find anything in the devices menu on my window's 7 laptop for the actual mouse, There's nothing in the program's list and I cant update it's driver...I've tried downloading an updated driver from the logitech website but that doesn't even work :/

The only sort of 'connect' feature on it is a switch on the bottom that you slide, I've turned that on and off almost 2 dozen times and that is also what I was referring to in the first post ^^; sorry for the misunderstanding, I'm not always good at explaining things in words

Newer Logitech mice don't have the connect button, and I haven't had a connectivity problem with the newer type so I haven't had this situation before. Does the manual say anything about how to get them to link up with each other?

Are there any pointing devices listed in Device Manager?

Nope, no misunderstanding. My Logitech MX Revolution only has an on switch, but predecessors also used to have a connect button.

It's actually been so long I don't have the manual ^^; but when I did read it awhile back there wasn't anything in it about how to link them up, I mean like.....There isn't anything I have to do to sink the USB device and the mouse together, Atleast not to my knowledge

Look in Control Panel. It may be easier to find if you change the view to see icons. If nothing else, it may show you whether it recognizes the make/model of your mouse.

That was actually the very first thing I did to try and find it ^^;

Logitech Mouse Refuses to Work

Anyone else picture a mouse, in his office at logitech, just sitting around drinking coffee and surfing the net?
