okay I have a USB logitech MouseMan Wheel. When I upgraded to WIN2000 i realized that I cant have more than one mouse button pressed at a time...in other i cant have button1 and 2 pressed at the same time...so i cant RJ in quake or anything??? any suggestions on a fix ???

version 9.00 works w/ win2k as well. i can send you those to try.. but it's kind of a pain to get 9.24 completely out of your system...

Well I tried another usb port..samething....i already have 8.0a (DX) installed...arg...i dont think the older version drivers are gonna do much...

FeNiX: Have you downloaded the lateste drivers yet? I have the same Logitech mouse, use Win2k and have no problems. I'm using version 9.24 of the drivers.

I just realized the same problem yesterday in Q3, while running if I shoot then I stop running - if I'm shooting and start running then I stop shooting, very annoying. I just the installed 9.24 drivers a few days ago, I'm pretty sure that's the problem so I'll try uninstalling them and go back to 9.00.

Hmmm ... what mobo's are you using ... had to hack my via chipset board to get USB mouse to work with the 9.24 drivers

Micro$oft have also recently releast new patches that are mainly game related

Well, I got it working again by getting the 9.00 drivers back on. Don't ask me how I did it because the 9.24's would just not go away. Every time I installed them the 9.24's would magically reappear. I had to clean the registry out, delete files all over the place, eventually after a few hours I was able to get the 9.00's back on and all is well.

PS - DX8.0a did not fix the problem before I got the 9.00's reinstalled.

Whoa looks like we are on to something...I am using Abit Kt7...you say you had to do some hack? BTW, can someone send me the 9.00 drivers to test out???? mchwang@scu.edu btw any disadvantages using the 9.00 driver???

I have the same problem. I just uninstalled the Logitech driver and am using the Microsoft drivers and it works. It sucks though because I cannot use the thumb button anymore in Windows.

Keep us posted if you find a solution using the latest drivers.

Same problem here.. Very frustrating. Getting my butt kicked in UT.

If someone knows where to find the 9.0 driver let me know. Or, if you're so inclined, feel free to email to me at: sedars@sedars.com

I'm going to begin removing 9.24 now.. Fun, fun.

Thanks!
