Logitech mouse is giving me problems when using certain applications.

My mouse is giving me problems.
I have a Logitech mouse with trackman marble+.
This technology helps aids in using certain software, for example IE. When one of the mouse buttons is pressed a direction arrow in a circle is popped up and this helps to scroll etc.

However this feature is happening without me pressing the button as a result the mouse is behaving very incoherently.

How can I fix the problem?

I've had problems with the logitech drivers as well, so I just don't install them anymore. Too much overhead IMO. I've also found that any feature I wanted altered can be done with MS drivers, and even with my latest upgrade to MX700, I just plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Scroll buttons, back, forward, everything works fine.

You may try to get the latest drivers from their site, as they are pretty good about upgrading them. Again, I don't know if this will fix your problem, as I never use them.
