Logitech mouse acceleration in games

When trying to play some older FPS games with my Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical, I find that acceleration is on in the game, though it's off in windows. This makes aiming nearly impossible as I'm used to having no acceleration. Is this another bug in the mouseware drivers or am I missing a setting? The games I'm talking about are QWTF (ollld quakeworld team fortress) and UT.
 
Bug in mouseware, sometimes i have no acceleration in games and it turns on out of nowhere and other times it's off.....and somtimes it even shuts off in windows.... I've noticed killing the EM_EXEC process helps these issues.
