Warning to all wanting to upgrade to a force-feedback mouse: Wait.
I sold a buddy my Logitech optical mouse so I could go pick up the latest and greatest- the Logitech iFeel force-feedback (wow my hand is numb now) mouse. I've played around with the settings, and it seems I can make it vary in range from joy-buzzer to... um... a regular mouse that hums.
Oh- but wait! Don't forget that it has support for Half Life! You too can enjoy... having the mouse buzz in sync with Gordon's footsteps and jumps. Period. "Woohoo! It's like I'm really there, Mom!"

There is one market I can see Logitech being successful marketing this mouse for- online porn-addicted pervs. "Allright kids, here's a mouse you can surf the nudie sites with until the buzzing numbs your hand for an added bonus: It'll feel like a stranger is cranking your-"
For some reason I don't think Logitech is gonna run that ad.

Save your extra ten bucks, peeps. Plain old mice get the job done.

I've already read several reviews of the Logitech iFeel. All the reviews basically say the same thing: the mouse was fun for a short while. But after the novelty wears off, the feedback and vibrations from the mouse becomes increasingly annoying.
