I personally think the refurb Harmony 900 is a better option for $190:

The touch screen isn't a big or nice as the 1100, but the 900 includes an RF package with the IR blasters. If you have a lot of equipment that may not be line of sight, or you just don't want to have to worry about where the remote is pointed, this is great to have. The 1100 is RF capable, but you have to buy the RF package for $100 extra.

Keep in mind the RF capability of the Logitech remotes only talks to their IR blasters.

I was hoping I could control my ceiling fans...
