Two good deals on two great mice. The G9 has been discounted a lot lately because there is a new version out the G9x. To be honest I don't think it the updated version is worth the $50 extra over the regular G9. I don't use the G9 anymore but did for over a year and my only complaint was the cord started to curl up and was impossible to straighten out. Overall it was the best gaming mouse I've used and I've tried quite a few. I think the G9 is online only the MX Rev is in stores as well.

Unfortunately its not available in any stores on Long Island. It is available online but shipping is $5.50 for me.

I'm using a G9 now. The shape / size took some time to get used to, but it's an excellent mouse.

I may run out there and grab the MX Revolution for my work computer. It has much lower DPI, but who cares if you're not gaming. I've used my co-worker's MX a few times and I much prefer to shape and the size.

My absolute favorite feature of both mice is the free-spinning scroll wheel. You can set them to either click-scroll (clicks with every scroll position, similar to "normal" mice; nice for people that use it to change weapons in games), or free-scroll (flick it with your finger and it'll keep spinning, great for scrolling through documents quickly). On the G9, you just push a button on the bottom to make the change, and I'm assume it's something similar for the MX.
