Logitech g700 opinion from past Logitech g7 owner

Hi!

I've been a satisfied Logitech g7 owner for the past 5+ years or so but the mouse started to register single click as double click last week. So i need to replace it.

I'm looking for a wireless mouse that is good for work and gaming. I know there's good wired mouse out there but i hate working with a wired mouse and i don't feel like having 2 mouses.

I'm looking at the Manba, g700 and MX revo. I'm not interested in x8 nothing against MS but this mouse looks far too geeky for my taste. Sadly i can't try the mamba and g700 where i live so i would like opinion about those 2 from past g7 owner. I almost already ruled out the mamba cause it's more expensive and there some bad reviews about it. I did try the Mx revo and while i like it for work i really don't see myself playing with this big mouse. I have small hands.

I really liked the shape of the g7. Is the g700 the same shape ? Also it looks to me like those g buttons close to the left mouse button could get in the way while working is it the case ? The left thumb buttons are really small and it looks like it will be easy to misclick them is it the case ? Finally the g7 batery life was really bad but the mouse had 2 batteries and a really smart system to change between them. The g700 has only one battery is it a problem or the battery life is way bettert han g7? I really don't want to have to use the mouse as a wired one every day.

Thx in advance.

No direct input I can offer on any of the mouses you listed, but I recently went from a G5 (wired version of the G7) to a G500 (looks to be wired version of the G700, althought slightly different shape). I wasn't a big fan of the G500. The buttons in the upper left corner of the mouse annoyed me and got in the way.

I ended up looking for a G5 for a reasonable price on eBay and the like and purchased another, and am now using G5's for work and gaming. If the G7/G700 is anything like the G5/G500 relationship, I'd recommend looking for another G7, or even try having Logitech replace it (may cost, but still getting a newish G7).
