The title says it all. The BestBuy in Loveland, Colorado has the G7 on clearance for $39.99. They had several in stock today 11/04. I don't see it on the web site so it must be in store only and with clearance anywhere your experience may be different. I went in to check on the G15 keyboard and the BestBuy in Longmont, CO had 2 open box for $90 each. So I went up to Loveland and that store didn't have any of the older G15's because they cleared them out for $30 a couple of weeks ago.

For what its worth I've been using the G7 for gaming for over a year and I like it. I have 2 of my systems with this mouse and I've had no failures. I bought the 3rd for the boss's system.

Alright! Let's hope this affects both SKUs!

Hmmm, still only 1 side mouse button on these ya? Only thing that stopped me from buying one a year ago. Also noticed my BB stopped carrying these some time ago; I think they're phasing out the Logitech enthusiast stuff. I'll check it out tomorrow when I pick up COD4 and may pick one up anyways.

Looks like Logitech is discontinuing the G7 in favor of a new design (G9).

At this point I'd love to see a mouse with an analog or even tactile click thumb stick. Would be great for navigating menus or gaming. Really not a big fan of that new throttle wheel on their newer mice though.....

This mouse uses 2.4 GHz wireless and is not restricted to line of sight. You may find a review out there but I've used it at greater than 10 feet. I had tried to use a MS wireless and it just didn't work but the logitech worked just fine.

i use this mouse for gaming (CS 1.6, team fortress 2, etc.) and it's great. But I've also heard that there are conflicting reviews. IMO, it all depends on the luck of the draw.
