Logitech G7, USB Battery Cradle supposed to "rattle"?

I just recieved this mouse from the Buy.com deal (Black one)

I noticed the USB cradle for the battery charger rattles when I shake it. Are all of them like this or what?

it SEEMS to be working fine.

Also, the battery indicator on the actual mouse itself doesnt seem to be working.. it will be fully green then just go red and I'll get a popup in Windows saying the battery is low.
 
I just got mine also from Buy.com (same deal). Mine doesn't rattle. But if I shake it pretty hard, the battery in the recharging bay moves around a little.

It sounds like the battery indicator is working. It goes red and you get a warning message for low battery. Sounds like it's working.
 
Mine doesn't really rattle, but why are you shaking your charger?

The indicator goes from 3 bars to 2 to 1 all while staying green, and then drops to red when battery's almost out.
