Logitech G7 momentary freezing

I've had my G7 for nearly half a year now with no issues, but lately (and it's been happening more and more often), my mouse cursor would freeze momentarily for 5-15 seconds before I can regain control of it. It doesn't appear that my computer is locking up (videos play fine without any stuttering, flash programs are running smoothly, even as I lose control of my cursor). I've tried swapping fully charged batteries, but the mouse freezes on both cartriages. My receiver is literally less than a foot away, and the lens look clean.

So is my mouse dying? Or could the software be glitching?

i had the same or similar problem with mine, i use a custom DPI so the indicator isn't set on the middle led and whenever it would freeze, the indicator would go back to the middle one which made me think the mouse was disconnecting from the receiver.

If thats what your mouse is doing, its shot, rma it.
One thing to try before all that is the new SetPoint drivers. I think they're at 3.00.

I owned my G7 for 2 months....same issue...would freeze for 5-30 seconds...spent 30 mins with logitech...got a replacement. I'll be getting rid of my G7 replacement since I just got a razer dimondback.
