Credit to Endorphine from FW:

Amazon is having a special on the Logitech G7 Gaming Mouse and Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard.

If you buy both from them you can get a $50 rebate from Logitech. Rebate ends 02/27/06.

Price on the Keyboard is $79.99 and the mouse is $74.99 = $154.98 - $50 REBATE = $104.98 Total price.

The average going price around the net is about $70-75, so this is a potential savings of around $40. Cheapest deal I have found so far on buying them as a pair.

i already have the keyboard, just want the awesome mouse, although i guess theres no point in upgrading from the MX1000 to the G7...For gamers this keyboard is great. g15forums.com provides a great look at what you can do with it.

Yeah, I have a MX1000 too, and I really want the keyboard. I don't really need the g7, although it is only $35 more than just buying the keyboard by itself, or I could always resell the mouse.

To me the G5 + G15 deal is better as it is corded. :)
You get a $30 rebate, but the G5 is also about $20 less than the G7

I saw that, but I thought that both rebates required the original UPC codes so you can't use both.

Hey, you are right. Both offers ask for copies. I think I will get the wireless in addition to the wireless and keyboard. Sweet!!!!

YMMV, but I have had 2 G7s thus far and they both had problems. The first one the batteries stopped charging after a few days. The second one I exchanged it for started having problems after a few months. This new one stops responding every so often for about 15 seconds. It really hurts to play games with. The problem comes and goes, but I'd say on average it messes up every 10 minutes. Logitech has no phone number for returns or anything, so if you get this mouse make sure you keep the box and everything in case yours flakes out.

I never had a problem with contacting Logitech. When my z680 speakers had a buzz coming from the subwoofer, they sent me a replacement set of z5500s for free. The best part is the buzz actually stopped after a few weeks.

I can also testify to logitech's customer service.

Although I'm beginning to wonder about the quality of their products, I will say that their customer service department will take care of you.

I have had them replace 2 headsets, 1 mouse and 1 mouse/keyboard combo so far and I always get replacements hassle free.

So while i personally find their quality to be in question, there is no doubt that even if it breaks, you're not gonna get screwed in the long run.

The keyboard is listed as "Shipped from Gamestop." Will the rebate still work when it is not directly coming from Amazon?

Thanks for the link. I don't know why I couldn't find it. Hopefully they will RMA my 2nd mouse. I hate all the hassles that come along with buying the latest technology though. Maybe I just have had bad luck.
