Logitech G7/G5 software buggy?

I have the newest version of the setpoint software... but it annoys me greatly - each time I enter windows, my sensitivity is too low. Then I have to press the "+" button on the mouse to increase it. After 5 minutes the sensitivity drops again, without me touching anything, and then I have to press "-", to set it back to the normal level.

Anyone else experiencing this problem ?

This happens to me too (I don't think all of the time though). I am using setpoint 3.0 and it seems sometimes when I boot the mouse movement will be really slow, and then I don't know what event triggers it, but all of a sudden it will speed up to what it should be...

I use setpoint and it's fine. I even have my own sensitivity settings on it, 5 instead of 3... and it always boots to the one I shut it down at. First time I've actually had logitech software work well actually.

no problem with my G7 mouse :! it happened at start but i never use Logitech Software : )

QFT. Logitech makes great hardware but, imo, is totally unable to write decent software.

I remember when I had the software installed for their quickcam messenger. It would fubar the start menu and taskbar beyond belief.

What version of the software are you using? The newest 3.0?
Thanks!
