Logitech G510 Keyboard - Multi. Keystrokes question

I'm not sure if I'm in the right area for this.

I recently replaced my 5 yr old g10 Logitech keyboard for a g510. These are my issues:

  • Whenever I play a game, say Battlefield 3, I'm sprinting with the left 'SHIFT' key. Occasionally, I'll stop running when I switch a weapon by the #s above my 'W' key. This did not happen with my old keyboard.
  • When I play a RTS or RPG game that deals with assigned groupings (ex. 'Ctrl+1' on selected units in a RTS, hit '1' and you select those units), my current keystroke stops and than continues for a moment. For instance, I move pan the camera over the battlefield, but as I do that I hit '1' to select the units. The camera stops and than continues shortly hitting it.
That's about it, but I would seriously appreciate any input on how I can fix this. I believe it's a software problem. It's quite possible that I'm not hitting the keys hard enough to make an action happen. The g10 and 510 have a different weighted key and I must press harder to make letters typed/used.

Thanks!
