Logitech G500 mouse question

I believe the 500 is dying. For one, it sometimes double clicks with the left mouse button. It's also very strange........ It works on my desk but does not track at all on my mouse pad anymore. Never had that happen with any mouse.

1--- What is the comparable Logitech wired mouse today for the G500?
 
Logitech wont rma a mouse out of warranty.

Im gonna sound like a broken record, but watch some rocketjumpninja videos. The mouse market is full of perfect/near-perfect sensors and its now down to your preferred shape/size/weight.

I recommend Logitech. Razer is a piece of crap,, trust I know Ive been around Im 40 .... their products has cost us a lot of grief.. the cursor is super senstive so even the slighest pass will move it arounf. So forget razer, might look good but their a POS. Of cousre don't get microsoft they all redacted just like uncle billy. Grab a Logitech. They have #1 RMA in the world. They send you a brand new product in 3 days and you don't even have to send yours back. I have a lot of testimony from this. Anyhow can you tell me what type of game you play like FPS, or MMO or 3rd person or RTS and what not. But for now I would suggest this mouse right here

I play Unreal Tournament Alpha.and was ranked #1 in the world in UT99 ,, for a short period of time. Thank you.
