hi,

I got the Logitech G5 (the wired mouse)
i like this mouse, but heard so much good thing about the Deathadder.

Is it worth it to swtich to this mouse?

it costs like $70
I play games like cod4, rb6

Personally I would never spend more than $20 on a mouse.

I got my MX518 for $15
I got my MX500 2 years prior for $15

The Deathadder is awesome, but I would probably just stick with the G5 until you need a new one. I have personally tried and used a Deathadder and I loved it, but now I love my G9 so much more 😀. I play CS:S competitively so you don't think I didn't try them out in something crap like internet browsing lol.

My wife has the Deathadder (Guild Wars edition), and I much prefer my G5. More comfortable feel to me. But whatever floats your boat. I'd definitely see if you could get your hand on one first to see if you prefer the feel.

i went MX510 > G7 > Deathadder. For me it was deathadder no question. The shape first my hand better and the reversal of the rubber and plastic bits as compared to the MX510 works alot better imo, especially for someone who has sweaty hands. Also its considerably lighter than the G7 and slightly lighter than the 510.

The Deathadder and the G9 are as good as it gets. I slightly prefer the G9 due to the build quality and button feel, the Deathadder can feel a bit cheap in comparison. But they both are amazing.

I hate the standard Logitech G5 shape. I have a DeathAdder. The DeathAdder is widely considered the best mouse ever made. Trust me, I should know. I have one.

I like my Deathadder. The only other mouse I would consider is the G9, but since I can't find anywhere to hold one before I buy it, I have never been able to compare them. I don't care though, I love my Deathadder.

The G9 had a weird shape at first (coming from a MX1000 -> G7 -> G9), but it only took a few hours to get used to. The DPI is noticeable, and I love the button placement.

It's a bit pricey though.
