Logitech G35 Help!!!

I recently bout the Logitech G35 Gaming headset. I have noticed that My volume in game (Modern Warfare 2) is low I can hear but it's just not loud enough (all my volume levels are up). Also I noticed that if I am shooting and a grenade goes off, my sound will distort to the point that it is unrecognizable, this also happens when air strikes are called in. Basically when there is a bunch of chaos going on my sound distorts... I have the latest drivers for the headset. If any one has heard of of a fix for this please help me out thanks.

I have not tried it on another game yet. But it does seem to play audio fine.
