Logitech G300s - pretty nice.

New mouse. replaces MX810 that had peeling feet and rough sliding around.

The g300s is nice. Seems to be floating on air. Buttons click with some authority. Not sure what I'm going to do with the extra programmable buttons in Windows but I'm starting to get ideas. Thinking of automating some simple editing tasks I have to repeat over and over and over, like converting an img to jpg from png, for example. The color-change system is kind of neat. The Logitech drivers are surprisingly not overwhelmingly bloated. Have they finally learned their lesson and delivered a decent piece of software that isn't going to bork my performance?

Mouse definitely feels very light but not flimsy. Will be quite comfortable to work with all day long. I suspect it will help my CS:GO performance when I finally get a chance to fire up and game.

Only real concern is that I might accidentally trigger the extra mouse buttons as they're right to the side of where your finger rests. I foresee accidentally backing up in a browser and losing form data if I'm not using chrome for some reason. I'm not too much of a sausage fingers guy so I should be OK.

I just got my G300S yesterday and yes it seems nice for the price.I wished it was a little bigger but other than that its pretty good so far.
