Logitech G15 on new mb evga 680i

Anyone know if there is a difference in how the evga 680i uses its USB ports? Now my LCD and lights on the G15 all go out when I turn the comp off and don't come back on till late in the boot process (this includes the numlock lights too). I know there is still power though as I have some other things branched off the G15.
