just installed the Logitech elite keyboard and an mx500 with the latest mouseware/itouch software from the logitech site. Now I am playing my music from WMP9 and I really like the play/skip etc. keys on the elite, however when most of the time when I type with the elite, the music skips and sounds garbled. What gives? I have the elite plugged into a PS2 and the mouse is in the USB. Please help!!
edit: okay i just realized that using the keyboard or perhaps the mouse.. is somehow way too cpu intensive, which is why the mp3s are skipping. i discovered this when I was playing counter-strike and was gettin super pissed at how I kept on skipping even though my fps is locked at 100. this is really pissing me off, anyone know how to fix it?
also, my computer is in no way weak as well. i have an oc'ed 1700 at 2 GHz with 512 HyperX 6-2-2-2 timings (however i've scaled back to using a 166 FSB for voltage reasons). i dont know why this is happening, please help me.
