Just my 2 cents. I have 2 of these keyboards and I personally do not like them at all. The keys are sticking and it just feels weird under your fingers....

I also have two of these keyboards (2 KB's and 2 Black optical mice for $0.28 total from Staples around X-mas deal! ) and I absolutely think it's the best keyboard that I've used. It beats the crap out of my M$ keyboard upstairs!

i bought one of theese keyboards to try to replace my Microsoft Natural pro.. and i can say i was dissapointed.. sure its black and silver but the keys SUCK

Good luck getting your Logitech rebate. All of mine lately have been very late. I have two $10 optical mouse rebates that I sent on 3/17. Parago did not enter them into their system until 5/1. Even though they have been approved they have not sent my check. I have called Parago twice and they keep telling me to wait 30 days. They cannot explain why the checks have not been sent. I am about to complain to the BBB.

My keyboard really sucks. For some reason my F8 key doesn't work. Of course didn't notice that until I was trying to access the special screen when Windows failed. Also couldn't reload Windows XP and 2K when the F8 key kept me from accepting the EULA before the install. It seems to be the only key broken but not sure. Grrr, now have to call logitech to hopefully get this fixed.

POLL - Which keyboard do you think is the best? My GF got the logitech elite and it was the quietest and smoothest thing i had ever typed on.....for a week. After that, it lost its suave stroke and got as loud as any other keyboard.

So, any votes as to which keyboard you like the most???

I also have 2 keyboards and mice from the Staples deal but haven't opened either of them so I can't say whether they suck or not.

Have any of you that are having problems with your keyboards contacted Logitech? From what I've heard they are just as good as MS about replacing defective items.

I would agree about the extreme delay getting Logitech rebates (and any other reabte from Pargo). I love how the saying "should receive your rebate in 30 days" equates with >60 days. Sigh....such is the nature of rebates

Is there a way to disable the F-lock function? This is the lamest feature I have ever seen for a keyboard.

if the keyboard is using the USB interface, it wont work for the F8 at bootup....since the USB port hasn't initialized.
(the exception is motherboards with BIOS's that initialize USB keyboards)....

To fix:
try plugging in the keyboard with the PS/2 adapter...I bet it'll work as you want it to.

what BIOS are you using that doesn't initialize USB keyboards?
any BIOS nowadays (Award, Phoenix, etc) should do this.

this problem sounds a bit like the f-lock problem.
