Maybe old news if so lock and I apoligize, I did a quick search for this,.

I had to price match at CompUSA since Best Buy was out of them, CompUSA did it for $29.94.

Best price online I found was $32.90 though so $29.99 was a hot deal to me for not having to deal with the possibility of long delays when dealing with the 'best' price on price search engines.

Using it via PS/2 port and it's just as good if not better than my Logitech Mouseman+ that died.

MS mice all have 400 dpi. That is the same dpi as they had ~3 years ago. I would have bought a Logitech 800dpi mouse a few months ago when my old Logitech died but they were expensive so I bought an MS Explorer 3.0a.

Most people won't notice a difference unless you are playing games and thus, move the mouse too quickly for a normal mouse to register the movement. I have heard some Counterstrike user swear by it so it must help in some situation.

The 2 sensors don't increase the dpi really, it just switches between them to whichever has a more coherent 'motion' datastream. Its just another step in ability to track well from most of the mice out now, just as they were up from the ones that were so sensitive they needed a special mousepad.
