hiyo!

after much dicking around, i have come to the realization that my corless rumblepad 2 has lost its rumble in vista 64. manually changing the game config (GTR Evolution) did nothing, so i turned to logitech for help.

this is the procedure:
unplug controller from usb
run ClrCalib.exe from logitech
uninstall wingman 5.02
restart
install wingman 5.02
plug in the controller only when prompted

GTR Evo does support the controller, and logitech claims to have fixed this in 5.01. all buttons register properly, in profiler and device properties, except the vibration button. any help with this is appreciated.

TIA,
TBD

Hmm.. My rumble was fine when I played GRID on Vista 64 w/ the same GamePad. But I am not using the Wingman software. The Logitech Gaming software instead.

Same result here.

I went onto the Logitech site, went through Support to find my Cordless Rumblepad 2 and downloaded the drivers it had for Vista 64.

Loaded up GRID, customised my controls and away I zoomed!!!

I would try the Logitech Gaming Software, available for download on the Logitech Support Page for the Cordless Rumblepad 2 then come back to us with an update, we can take things from there.

i'm sorry for the confusion from my old-school vernacular - i'm using:
vista ultimate 64 sp1, all important updates
logitech gaming software
lgs502_x64.exe
file version 4.1.100.1332

gtr evo is my only force feedback enabled game atm. since the vibration button doesn't seem to do anything at all, i think my system is borked. time for a format?
