OfficeMax has all of their in-stock keyboards and mice %30 off through 4/27. They stock this Logitech Cordless Optical mouse., B&M SKU 930616-0403, for $49.99 less %30 = $34.99 (or $35, if you prefer).

BestBuy is selling the same thing for $49.99 with $20 MIR through 4/27.

I would recommend calling or stopping by you local OfficeMax B&M first to ensure they do have the product in stock (if not, they may be able to check their computer and tell you which local stores have stock). Also, you will need a copy of this weeks OfficeMax ad. The 30 percent off deal is in the small flyer, but the effective dates are at the bottom of the last of the full size pages. FWIW I took mine up to the front and asked one of the clerks floating aroung up there about the price match (just to avoid those ugly discussions about MIR price versus IR price). Took very little discussion, they didn't even call OM (altho I did have the phone #'s handy), just gave me the discount. Out the door for $34.99 plus tax and the forms for the $20 MIR in hand.

Nice find, but my Best Buy doesn't like to be nice and call other stores up. They will only match the price if there is nothing attached to it. I usually have to call their 1-800 number, talk to one of the Service Reps, then get transfered to the store manager, explain the story and get the discount..

I've never been able to get BB to price match. One time I actually went over to CompUSA, bought the item and took it back to BB. They STILL wouldn't price match it! I hate Best Buy! :| But nice deal anyways.

I have good luck almost every time. Today, I bought two of them (rung up seperately. I picked the least interested looking girl (cute though) and waited in her line. When I got to her I asked nicely if she could do price matches or if I have to take it to the service desk. She said she could do it. I showed her the ad, she asked me how much OM's price was and rang it up. I offered to give her OM's phone number, but she said, "I can read--30% off!). She smiled and rang it up.

All done. She didn't even bat an eyelid when the rebates came out. SHe told me there was a rebate, gave me the slips and off I went. Perfect. I hate Bestbuy generally, but they price match pretty easily.

Some of these Logitechs are worth every penny. I got my second 2x optical and this is the best mouse I ever had.
OfficeMax has MS optical mouse for like $25 - 30% and there is another $10 coupon from MS. Looks like less than $10. I don't know how good it is though.

my luck with BB varies...it all depends on the CSR......some are nice...some aren't....just luck........
