Anyone know if the mouse is suppose to shut off by itself? Mine just blinks at a steady pace when it's not in use.. Is that normal?? Cuz I find myself replacing the batteries (Ni-Mh) every 2 wks or so..

Thanks in advance!!! (pm me too if you can.. thanks!)

mine just blinks also. but i don't change my batteries every 2 weeks. you must be using it a lot more than i am. and it blinks at a slower rate when it's not being used. i wonder how the microsoft one fairs off against the logitech one. i'm looking into getting it if it's better.

NauTiKa128, I have the Cordless Freedom Optical set, and my mouse never completely shuts off. After a while is does blink slowly, but is always "on." Changing the battery every 2 weeks seems excessive to me.
