Under the picture of the mouse is a box with "Rebate Savings" in red text...click on that

It'll take you to the Rebate Center. Here's a LINK, hopefully it'll work.

my roommate has one..he runs xp and he doesn't know if its the logitech drivers or what, but he can't get the wheel to work in games
the mouse does feel nice though for normal use...

<< are these mouses (edit: mice, duhhh) any good? i know they suck for gaming, but how about normal use? >>

You had it right the first time.. "mouses" is the correct plural when it comes to the input devices. 🙂

Oh, and speaking as a non-gamer, it's a really nice mouse. I've always loved the "feel" and "handling" of Logitech, and this one's no different. The only problem is of the 3 Logitech mouses I've got in the past year, two have turned out to be defective. Not a great track record. The upside is Logitech was pretty good about replacements.

Yep, I got one of these and a cordless keyboard set free from dell due to a pricing mistake on another PC order i made thru them.

I can't get the wheel or mouse side buttons to work in most of my games either. Although I don't find any problem with it being too slow like some people claim. I'm pretty sure its 800dpi too.

Other than the wheel not working in games, i find no other problems with it at all.

I do miss my wheel and thumb buttons in CS and MOHAA tho...........

If you have your heart set on cordless and optical, compusa has a memorex rf cordless optical mouse for $30. I did not buy one so I cannot comment on the quality.

i think that it all comes down to preference. Ive had this mouse for a while and i think its great. I dont think its heavy or slow or even noticed that at all. Even the batteries have been running for over 5 months and they are still going strong.
Maybe its not good for gaming due to its shape but otherwise its great.
