Just came back from my local walmart and saw a small display in back of the computer area. Logitech Cordless Mouse for $18.88. Salesperson had just finished display, I cant comment whether this is national or local(Ohio here). I bought this as an excellent addition to the FIC Ice Cube I built for home theater pc. Hope you find the deal fair if you need one for whatever reason. Also like to thank all the great folks here for keeping us all informed for great deals.

I work at walmart and saw this display at our store also so its pretty much national. There are corded and cordless mice on the display, no fancy cordless mice though. I can't remember exact model numbers.

the box simply says Logitech Cordless Mouse it is dark grey and light silver mouse. The receipt shows it listed as this:

LOGI CORDLES 009785501987 18.88 J

hope that helps you out.

No, it is not the xm700.

They are offering the basic optical with the 2 optical sensors at that price as well as the cordless that isn't optical.

My question: is the dual optical mouse better than the simple optical mouse they offer (I think you could call this one "the original" optical mouse. It's listed at logitech's website simply as "optical mouse" and it is corded)?

I love my dual optical mouse, best dam mouse I've had in a long time
Alot better than the Mx500 I just bought, its a piece in my opinion

The $18.88 dual optical is better than the mx500, in your experience? (mainly i'm interested to know which is better for gaming).
