I recently purchased a Logitech Cordless Mouse and for some reason, it eats batteries like they're going out of style. I left the computer on downloading stuff while I went to work, came home - flat batteries. Thought hmmmmm, maybe there's some power management software I'm missing, I download Logitech's crappy software. Leave the computer downloading over night, wake up - BINGO - flat batteries.

Any suggestions?

i'm not too sure if this is an uncommon occurance. i think most people but 2 sets of rechargeable batteries, and charge one set while the other is being drained in the mouse.

Mine weren't going dead that fast... i was using rechargables and they were lasting about 2 weeks before needing a recharge.

I would say you just have a bad mouse... return it for an exchange or call up Logitech, because that definitely isn't normal.

yeah, something is wrong. I've had my cordless logitech for about a year with my computer on 24/7 and only had to replace the batteries twice. I'm on my third set of batteries right now and I just replaced those like a month ago.

I've only replaced my Logitech mouse's batteries about 3 times this year and I use it a lot. Try to get it replaced since you shouldn't be having this problem.
