I'm looking at this wireless keyboard mouse MX Duo thingy. I have a desk with a pullout keyboard tray that sits underneath the main desk. I'm guess that the mouse recharger is the input for the signal coming from the mouse/keyboard. Will the keyboard not being visible to the input thingy be a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem.

I just held mine under my desk to test, and it was still quite functional.

Later..

Right under. Pretty much directly below the receiver. It's a wooden desk, several layers thick.

I can also use the keyboard from my bed, which is about 8-10' away.
Not that I can read anything on the monitor from this distance, but the media control buttons are pretty handy. :)

I use a cordless Legitech optical mouse and the cordless keyboard, and I can type & mouse the whole way to the fridge to get a beer. You gotta have good batteries to do it though.

yeah i walked away from the computer and down the stairs while moving the mouse and yelling to my friend if the mouse pointer was still moving . i got just about to the bottom when he said it stopped so thats about 40 feet away. it was probably pretty jaggy at that point though

it's radio frequency not infared so, line of site is not required.

mine is behind my monitor and i have no issues.
