Logitech Cordless iTouch System for 34.95 and free shipping after 20 off 50 new customer coupon

Don't count on the Logitech rebates for ANYTHING purchased at Overstock.com, as the product is "OEM" - no UPCs or labels.

I just bought the wirless keyboard/mouse package last week. Brown boxed, no UPC. Most likely used. The serial numbers were crossed out with a black marker (not sure the meaning of that). So most likely you can't get the logitech rebates if you buy from Overstock. While mine is working fine, I've heard someone else say that thiers died right away.

There was already a thread on this... and they turned out to be Refurb! Overstock was not clear on this either...

REFURB... now they're really pissing me off... i thought they were supposed to put the "factory serviced" icon on the product page and i found none. it's coming next week =(

does this us IR (infra red) or RF (radio frequency) cuz i play games and people say that the IR lags behind, so i just wanted to know what this was and if ne body has this and plays games, does this really lag that noticeably? thanx in advance

even if it's not refurbished, i believe the desktop system is a single product, and you have to buy two products to qualify for the rebate

I dunno if you guys would consider this a HOT deal, but maybe luke warm... If you really wanted to buy a new Logitech Cordless iTouch System, I just did this yesterday... Call Staples,

have them Pricematch Staples # IM1153274 wihch sells for $93.99 with Onvia.com, have them search for "freedom", and the first item that shows up in the list should be the " CORDLESS FREEDOM NAVIGATOR USB PS/2 RF 6FT W/ITOUCH INTERNET " that sells for $75.56.

After u pricematch, apply the 25 off 75 coupon, and you should get the keyboard shipped for free for $50.56, and I'm guessing since this is not an OEM product, the rebate can apply, so you -$10 ... So you get both mouse and keyboard for $40.

warm?

RDSport323 - Assuming the Staples price match, coupon and rebate all work then that's a hot deal (not just warm).

Better than Overstock.com since I have heard nothing but bad stuff about them.

Well, I have absolutely no idea what the rebate is... I just read it down at the top of the thread, but the link doesn't work... But, I can guarantee you that the PM w/ coupon does in fact work. I ordrered it this morning. The First CSR said I would have to call back in 3-5days because its not in stock (uh... duh, Special Order), so I hung up , called back and got a much nicer CSR who took my order. So, I'm excited to see if this rebate actually does apply. But if it doesn't, u can still get it for $50.

🙂

good luck!

buffboy,

i've had this combo for quite some time and am fairly satisfied. the batteries last surprisingly long.. about 3 months for the mouse (2xAAA) and 5-6months for the keyboard (2xAA). the range is great, about 20ft or more (i never did a clear line of sight, just out my bedroom and into the hallway).

as for the gaming, i'd give this a negative. the mouse is not as ergonomic as i'd like it to be (especially for 100bucks), and the buttons and scroll arent soft and smooth as a microsoft mouse - a little too much click. the worst part is that it only clocks in at 60hz, even using ps2rate etc. you can adjust the sensitivity in the games, but its just a little disappointing for us gamers. i wonder if the battery life would be decreased if someone was to release a util to tweak it?

as for the keyboard, the only things i would have liked were softer keys and maybe a few more shortcut buttons. otherwise, its great and at a decent weight. everything works in win2k well too (except maybe the sleep button).

final thoughts - decent for any non-gamer if you can manage a deal. i'd look into the ms cordless for mouse comfort. dont know how the logitech pro feels tho. if you're wondering why i settled for this combo, well i got a GREAT deal (thanks VA!), im not that much of a hardcore gamer, and i wanted the cordless ability to game and watch dvd/divx on the tv. hope this helps!

I'm trying to get in on the Staples deal, but the CSR that I spoke to said that she couldn't verify that the Onvia product was the same until Tuesday. I'm gonna try back in a few minutes, but my order may be on hold until Tuesday. Bummer.

Well, sounds like you gotta hang up and call back for another CSR.... With staples, it's all about the luck of the draw... soemtimes u get good, sometimes u get bad, and sometimes u just get plain stupid... I had to call twice... They should be able to verify it, otherwise tell them to read the description out loud to you, or tell them to look at the MSRP... Those are just a few things I said on a different order, but I had no problems with the iTOUCH Internet Keyboard.

Good Luck to you
