Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical

I used it and loved it...Now, I only use the keyboard coupled with a MS wireless optical mouse.
My dad uses the actual combo and likes it too.

I'd highly recommend it, but be aware that the mouse doesn't respond quite like a wired one.
 
have you seen the mouse in person? i used to be a big fan of logitech's "curvy" mice... but this one IMO sucks. the new MS wireless one is very comfortable.. i don't wanna spend that much, but i have a GC.. so it'll help
 
I have the mouse and keyboard set, the mouse is not as "curvy" - I know what you mean. It is still very comfortable and works great for me so far.
 
i have the combo and its awesome. i bought it primarily for the keyboard and didnt really need a mouse since i had a first generation MS intellimouse explorer.. but soon after i got this combo, my MS intellimouse explorer died on me so i'm glad i got this mouse. at first, response time felt laggy in UT, but all i had to do was set the sensitivity lower since this used the logitech software as opposssed to the MS software. but i really like this logitech wireless mouseman optical because it feels sturdier and well built compared to the flimsy MS intellimouse explorer.
 
yep, got it for about 60 bucks together at compusa.

Keyboard: Kickass! Love the dial for the music and the scroll on the left.
Mouse: sucks ass. range is short (often Im within 6 feet of the base, yet I get erratic mouse movements and I have to move it closer. My old logitech non-optical cordless could go like 20 feet. Also, its very uncormfortable-the right hand side of the mouse is curved unnaturally and hurts your hand/wrist.
 
I guess I'm the only one who actually like the mouse that came with it. At first it did give me problems, however I found the MS Intellimouse stuff worked with it, I found that hilarious. Anyway, Logitech has released new software/drivers and a patch for gamers. As for the shape, I really love it :0)
 
I just bought this combo this past weekend. I think it's great and better then my logitech cordless freedom i had before. And plus, it matches my all Black PC. 🙂
