Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical Question...

I just got the Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical Combo, it is working excellent. At first it wouldnt work but i had the transmitter sitting above my power supply, moved it and it works good.

The instructions reccomend using the legacy ports instead of USB, anyone know why this is? im using USB and want to know if i can get better performance using the ports.

Justin, I never read the instructions for my LCFO, but I hooked it up via the legacy ports because they are almost 100% reliable vs. trying to figure out USB issues IMHO, hope this helps 🙂
 
aright thanks for the help, i connected it using the legacy ports and it seems the mouse moves just a bit more smoothly,

I think cause USB is suppose to be faster then Legacy so iIwould imagine that is why but the MoBo must support it along with the drivers and chipset...I use mine via legacy as well...cause it works😉
