My recently purchased logitech elite duo has had this problem and i dont know if its an easily solved one or i need it replaced.
Basically the keyboard and mouse stop responding because they lose the connection to the reciever. Sometimes this is followed by a blue screen... with no text, this is win2k btw.

Im gonna switch the Active NIC to see if its an IRQ sharing issue... but any feedback would be appreciated.

Plug both the ps2 and usb connections on the receiver/transmitter into your pc.

along with the other suggestions make sure you have the latest Logitech drivers.

Owch... that make sure its plugged in suggestion hurts, 25 posts != total retard. =P

A clear path shouldnt matter since they run on radio transmissions, in fact it works if the keyboard is under my desk. Since this is not a constant problem this is also not the issue.

And I did try the latest drivers... from a couple weeks ago, ill check if there are new ones

Thanks for the quick replies.

Its not an IRQ issue due to the lan, so i am really baffled why it would blue screen... im gonna take out the drivers and run it as a plain USB keyboard and ps2 mouse and see what happens.

The clear path part... I have the same setup and it seems like the closer to the receiver the KB/Mouse is the worse the reception. I can go outside of the house and type and use the mouse just fine but sometimes when the receiver is a foot away it gets all funky and I have to move its position in order to get the KB/Mouse to work. I believe it has something to do with interference from other components.

The blue screen to me seems like a conflict problem. Are you using the USB ports to connect the receiver? It works much, much better if you plug the receiver into the PS/2 ports. For mine I don?t use the mouse drivers and all the functions still work under Win2k, I do have the keyboard driver installed for the button programming.

I have that same setup and I run it as a ps2 keyboard and a usb mouse. Double check that you have that part set up right!

Actually the ps2 line is labled mouse, but you can run it without that plugged in. I have already tried many combinations of plugged in vs not. No dice.

Hmm... i removed the logitech drivers.. just running it on plain stuff no problems so far.

One other thing, is there a way to make the mouse not go to a "sleepy" mode after like 10 seconds of not moving?
Its rather annoying when i have to click to wake the mouse up... actually that may be fixed too... just gotta play with it some more.

hmm.. for some reason, my duo has a similar problem... some of the keys work but some dont.

it took a few minutes of leaving it alone to get it to work..weird....defective?
