I had the same experience at my local best buy where the guy kept insisting on taking my rebate receipts with him, well, I gave him the rebate receipt and did the price match, but I make an exact copied of the rebate form and keep the rebate receipt. Do you think the photocopy of the rebate receipt that printed off the regsiter will work?

this is what you do.. go back to best buy and buy the same keyboard.. keep the rebate receipt and and rebate form. Return the keyboard with the origianal recepit.

now you have rebate form and recepit for your keyboard.

just got two, i wanted one then i decided to get two, these are great, i wished it had the mx700 mouse with it, but i know that model cost more, i got an mx700 mouse now but would have been good to have an extra, thanks for the deal, also did anyone buy the extended warrenty? i tryed not to laugh when the girl asked me to buy it, all i could think was 9.99 for the warrenty, im getting this thing for 6 after rebate, so i left her counter and stuck the mir in my pocket and went to customer service and did the pricematch, great deal, thanks

If you need the rebate receipt and form, just go back to your Best Buy and tell them that you didn't get them and they will print them out for you. I've done this. I did a deal similar to this before and the peon Best Buy CSR thought that he would take corporate policy into hand by keeping the rebate forms and receipt. I saw him crumple them up. I just walked around the store once, came back to the counter and ended up being helped by another CSR. I walked up and said that I didn't get my rebate receipt and form and asked if they could print another one off for me and that's what she did.

Right now im using the plain vanilla MS Optical Scroll Mouse, would you say the performance is worse than my mouse or better? TIA~!:)

Does it matter that REBATE RECEIPT has 59.99 on it. I hope they honor the $50.00 rebate.

Did you have to fill out name and address for Price match?

you should be able to remove the ps2 adapter from the usb plug and just use the usb plug.

No-Can-Do, There are one USB plug (with PS/2 adapter) and PS/2 plug with out USB adapter. You can choose to use, one USB and one PS/2 or both PS/2 but not both USB.

I just did it, but I'm on the East coast. I did it at BB in Columbia MD. The CSR said is this an online deal, and I said no I just printed their flyer form the net. She said do they have a local store? I said yes (although the closest is about 1-1.5 hours away). She asked her manager if the flyer was enough to do a price match and the manager said "Whatever." Guess I got lucky. After rebate, it will prolly cost about $8.

You can use only the USB connection. Otherwise logitech couldn't claim mac compatibility. The directions say "use P2/S whenever possible" but you can use the single USB connection for PC also according to the manual. I've only used it on my mac so far.

No, that's not correct. If you are using USB, you'd just use one USB port. You can not use USB and PS2 at the same time. If you don't have USB and want to use PS2, then you'd need to plug both the PS2 connectors (one into kb, one into mouse port).

I am really perturbed. I got two of them, one for me to upgrade mine, one for my girlfriend who insisted she wanted one for her computer I am building. So I did the smart thing and had the cashier ring them up as 2 different reciepts. Not a problem up to this point then I go over to Customer service desk, where the great man "John the @sshat" works. I have had problems with him before, imcompetence and lying about other stores caliming prices, but hey I have no chioce he is the only one working there. So anyway, I bring the two up show him the ad, and say that I would like to price matech, he gives me this but thing about how, even though I have done it many tiomes in the past, I can't pricematch and get teh rebate. he then procedes to ask if I still want to PM it, I say yes becasue I told thim I was aware of the policy and it has worked for me befeore. So to this he begins the pricematch but also procedes to take the rebates, which I stupidly put aside ontop the boxes on teh counter, and crumples them up. I asked for them back and we went through the whole "You can't have both, talk to my manger." so they both gave me the run around, and it is sad becasue I know more about it than they do...so I just simply said, refund them both, no more patronage.

Just grap the last one in Chicago North Ave store. I will try to go to another BB to grap another one for my GF. When I check out the cashier told me that today there is 6 people did the same deal already. When I walk over the CS I didn't even need to say anything the rep told me you want to PM it to office max. I say yes and she did the magic, only takes 2 min. The price match is on a sperate recipte so I don't think there is anyway the rebate processing will know I did the PM. :D

They were sold out at the Best Buy here. I was disappointed. Maybe they'll get more in stock later in the week.

Hey, good news. I went to BB near Plymouth Meeting in PA, and they PMed for me! I paid $105.99 (w/tax), then got PM and 10% extra of the PM, which comes to $46.64. The difference is $59.35, and $50 MIR is $9.35, including tax. I was thinking about getting another one, but I wanted to give others a chance, too. Actually, I met a fella and his girlfriend who was getting it, and knew about the PM, but didn't have OM flier. I gave him my copy. SHARING is GOOD!
