If your B&M still has them, they're now $29.04 discontinued (replaced by the MX duo)

If you spot one at that price, buy it! The keyboard alone is worth it.

yes it's $99 online but should be $29 in store, on clearance, if you can find it. I've already checked a bunch in L.A. and orange county but they're all out of stock. logitech also asked for old inventory to be shipped back to the factory which makes it even more unlikely to find a set. too bad, it's a nice price.

Probably can't pricematch, but I just noticed from doing a Pricewatch.com search that JustDeals has this for $42.85 shipped. I guess these have really come down in price. I got my mom this for Mother's Day and after using it, I must say I would really like one too. They work really well!

Linked If interested, PM me for the code.

justdeals=refurbished. Serial#s are blacked out, etc. etc. I wouldn't deal with them again.

I picked one up for this price awhile ago... just my opinion but if you are looking for a good cordless mouse look elsewhere. Go for a 700 series with a charging bay. The keyboard is great (only has a radius of use of about 4 feet but hey, how far can you use it and still see the screen) but the mouse chews through its 2 batteries on average of once a week or so. I have a rolling supply of rechargable batteries but still it is a pain.

FYI...
this keyboard puts out VERY noticable NOISE in the sound system.....The software is unusable because of all the noise it generates....without the softeare it is OK in the noise department but is still present, on the volume knob, slight mouse noise...
I'm running MONSOON mm2000's on monstercable out of an audigy.....same out of a live plat.
I was very very disapointed, every link the mouse goes over makes noise in the speaks....
otherwise it has worked great , but the mouse does get a little iffy on lateral movement.....

again very noticable sound, quips, pops, and fuzz sounds...very annoying on a great set of speaks 3 feet from your ears...

just for those with very high quality speaks thinking of buying this set...

Frankly saying, the elite DUO is not so good. I bought two sets last Xmas. And upgraded to MX700 later.
the mouse in elite duo uses old technology. And hand-feeling is not so good as MX700.
The KB keeps typo when battery is dying.
And the combo often got conflicts with Video/display.

Old technology is old. If you like new funncy stuff, buy MX700 duo.
personally, I don't like wireless KB, always giving typo when battery is dying. And no obvious feature than wired. I only keep mouse wireless (two MX700 now).

my 2c.

Mi mucho disagreeo...

I have used the Elite Duo on all of the PC's that I have built for people and for my own. I have never heard noise and play games with them all of the time. Good feel to them and never a problem. Great buy under $50... however, I'd love to get my hands on the MX duo also.

I've been using the Elite Duo since December and I haven't ran into any of the noise problems with my NF2 Soundstorm audio (pumped out to my old Aiwa shelf system who was moved to computer speaker duty when the CD mechanism failed). The battery life on my mouse is pretty good, it usually lasts 1-2 months on a set of Energizer AA's, depending upon how heavy use it gets. The Keyboard does get a bit flakey when the batteries are going, but I've only replaced the batteries twice in 9 months, so that doesn't happen often. The keyboard works so well that most of the time I forget it is cordless. It just does its job and doesn't give me crap.

I am keeping my eyes open for a MX DUO for my wife to use at her new job (I got a good deal on a MX500 a while back, so I am set for games). If you have the cash, get a MX DUO - you won't be disappointed. For $30 this a killer deal on the Elite though.
