Logitech C615 Crashing Windows 7

Just installed Logitech's Webcam Software for their C615 HD webcam and it's causing me serious Windows 7 blue screens on a brand new Dell XPS 8300 machine that has run flawlessly up until now.

Trying to uninstall this Logitech software off my machine is virtually impossible.

I'm wondering if anyone has run into these types of crashes and found a resolution.

Or, failing that, the best way to unintall the Logitech software + drivers so I can do a reinstall of the drivers only.

If Logitech doesn't offer uninstall software I suggest trying Revo Uninstaller. It's free...easy to use and will get rid of every trace of the software.

Have you checked the minimum specs for the computer needed to run that cam? If you don't have a fast enough CPU or enough ram it will cause your computer to crash or lockup most likely.....

You're best bet is to run a good uninstaller like the poster above suggested. And probably look thru the registry after that.

The Logitech Vid is the cause of the crashes. Don't install the sw from the cd, download the latest version from Logitech then choose the expert option during the installation to install the pieces that you want, install the driver and if you want, the video/photo capture software which is stable. Don't install the video calling software (Logitech Vid) which is the problem bit and use Skype or something else instead.
