Staples has the Logitech C310 HD webcam for $19.99 in the Staples B&M in store only ad starting 9/2/12. That is the cheapest price I've seen on this highly rated 720P webcam. USB 2.0. Presently $31.47 at Amazon. Not a bad deal at all.
I'm going to pick up a couple at this price.

I just went and checked it out at Staples since I need one as well. It's pretty small, and basic...build quality is ok not super......does not have 360 degree swivel head....and looks rather delicate to me.....but it's a camera not a soccer ball I guess. The cord is only 5 ft instead of 6 if that works for you. But for $20 bucks you can't complain with the quality of the video reportedly being very good in the reviews. It does not have a mechanical focus which is something I like. Seems a lot of them keep zooming in and out looking for the right focus and it's an issue. That seems to be an issue with Microsoft LifeCams.
Update: Staples has a 25% store credit coupon until 9/5 so for some of you that may sweeten the deal a bit.
