Logitech bluetooth mouse & keyboard(MX900)

I was wondering if anyone had any info on the bluetooth MX---

It works great, but on startup I can't get either the mouse or keyboard to work. If I use a regular USB mouse and reset the Logitech setup program everything works great... but that seems to kill the point of having a wireless system. Any ideas on how to fix this??

Welcome to the AT forums....arent you glad I showed you this place 😉 ? Well you will be glad if you arent now 😛

So, on startup the mouse doesn't work at all? Is the logitech program running at startup in your systray for sure? Maybe that's the problem. Have you tried unplugging the setup and then plugging it back in to have Windows re-recognize it? I guess that's all stuff you should have to do to get this thing working but....

Hope someone who has the same setup can help...

a friend of mine has microsoft bluetooth mouse&keyboard combo... has similar problem... he can't even get into his bios 'cuz of it... usually takes an extra couple of seconds to start working... but when it does - it works fine~

Yeah I tried to unplug the setup-- and the icon is on the system tray. People reported similiar issues on the Logitech website--they said you can delete some code...but I'm not sure if I want to fool around with that.

I have the same problem, but i just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. I actually really bought the mx900 as a bluetooth hub (i got a pretty sweet deal on it and it was quite a bit cheaper than getting a bluetooth adapter). but it's a really comfortble mouse, so i wanna try and fix it soon....

right now i'm using the gyration mouse on a desk as an alternative til i fix the mx900

as i was annoyed as hell at my mouse for not working the other day, i figured i'd look into it. i downloaded the newest Setpoint software from logitech's website, and all seems well.

i figured i'd post it here in case anyone searched for this thread hoping to find an answer...
