the best company is the one that's most comfy for you..try it out and see!

Microsoft has the best replacement policy though.

for wireless mice, i would say yes.
for wired mice, if youre going for gaming, then you might want to look into the sniper boomslang series, or if youre just scrolling through documents, give the microsoft intellimouse 4.0 a try.
for low end mice, it doesnt really matter.

i myself wouldnt buy anything but a logitech right now- ive just had excellent experiences with them.

The Sniper does have 2100 DPI, but it doesn't mention Megapixels. Anyone know how the SNiper compares to the (better lookign) Logitech MX510 gaming mouse?

I read a bit more, now I'm not even considering the Sniper boomslang because it still uses a ball (even though w/ optical). I cannot stand cleaning another ball mouse ever again.
