Logitech Audio control Z-560

The volume control on my Z-560's went bad. I've contacted logitech and they said I'm basically sh1t out of luck. Does anyone know where I could find a control that would work with these. They still sound great if I monkey with the volume knob.

What's wrong with them exactly? It's not like a static sound is it?

You might place a wanted to buy ad within the for sale/trade forums and bump it every few days. You might get lucky and someone has a set with a blown sub or speakers that could hook you up for cheap. Good luck.

They start making a loud crackling sound. If I hold the volume knob left and down it stops. ( Its hard to work while doing this).
