Logitech Arx Control Software Issues

I've only recently begun to use it and I've noticed several oddities. Until the most recent update I had intermittent connection failures while playing a game. Now with the latest update I've noticed that I lose control of my keyboard and mouse while playing battlefield 3. I've also had several instances when booting my machine where it would not load up forcing me to dl and reinstall it again in order for it to start working again. Are any of you noticing similar issues with this software?

what does this Arx Control do exactly?

What I hate about it is that it requires Bonjour to work properly but the moment I install the Logitech Gaming Software I uninstall that virus called Bonjour which causes severe PC slow down and sends all your computer usage habits to Logitech like it did for years with iTunes sending the info to Apple. Any PC that comes to me with a complaint of huge slow down, the first thing I check is the control panel and it would have Bonjour installed.
