Simple question: is it true the battery life is only 1-2 months on two non-rechargeable AA batteries? That's awfully sad if that's true.

And btw, any recommendations on a traveling mouse that does well with light-duty gaming? No to the Orochi due to the sleep issue.
 
My G700 burned up two AA's in under a day of heavy gaming. But I have 4 sets of rechargeble AA's, so no big deal.

Your worried about 1-2 months? Jeez.
 
6 mo is pretty standard for a non-gaming mouse. 1-2 months is horrible. There are some reports of batteries lasting only 2 weeks. I'm not going to do any heavy gaming with this. 1-2 hours a day at most and only occasionally FPS.
 
It also depends on hours of usage and whether or not you turn it OFF when not in use.
