So its down to $79.99 shipped at Amazon which I think is a good buy. However, I'd like to use it for my TV/Xbox or PS3 as well in the bedroom. Anyone have any ideas to do this?
 
Not going to happen with that unit. I own that unit and it sends the signal via a USB dongle that plugs into the PC and sends the audio data wirelessly to the headset. There is no way to route audio from the PS3 or XBox 360 into the dongle as it's simply a USB audio device and nothing more. You'll have to look into other units that can accept various audio inputs such as the Turtle Beach Ear Force X42.
