Its optical. I have this setup at home, and the cordless elite at work. Both rock. The only real difference is that the elite has an extra thumb button on the mouse.

Target has this on clearance for $14.98 right now. It just went 75% off today. You may want to go and have a look before buying this.

Anyone near Cerritos Greatland Target may want to go there in the morning. There were at least 8 of these when I was in there today. I didn't buy one since I have too many keyboards already.

Cerritos, California? Wow, and you sure this is the Access Wireless Duo? That's a good price. Might be worth the 30 mile drive to Cerritos. Or I could just check out my Industry Target, and just forget about it if it's not there.

I was about to buy the Elite Duo + MX700 for $80, but this might be better suited for this cash strapped college student:) Thanks for the heads up~!

optimistic, yes it's the same one. I looked it up on Target.com to make sure.

No need to drive to Cerritos though. Just check your local Target's. You may have luck there. While you're there look at all the other stuff that went 75% off in electronics today.

This is what I picked up but there's a whole lot of other stuff that I didn't want

Z540's for 19.98 (Z340's are 12.98)
2 Panasonic fax machines w/900mhz phones 34.98
1 of the reg Panasonic (model KX-FHD331) 22.48
Hello Kitty faceplates and cases 1.98 & 2.24
Palm M125 32.98
Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum 24.98 (think I'll return this)
Lexmark Z35 printer (for bro) 17.48
Hakuba tripod (model has 6000 in it) 9.98
Samsonite camera bag 3.74
pda screen protectors 3.74

Like I said, there's alot of other stuff marked down too. Some stuff is only 50% off (phones, dvd players, tv's etc) but quite a bit went 75% off today.

I imagine they lag just the same as the Elite Duo. You might want to look into the MX700 wireless Keyboard bundle for $80 at Staples.

Both versions are on clearance.

Yesterday they had 2 of the corded versions and 8 of the cordless. They were located in 2 different areas. Some were on the back wall by the stereos, the others were in the same aisle as the computer speakers.

optimistic, in your area I'd be surprised if you couldn't find these. You may have to drive out towards Monrovia though. I've heard in those "farther out areas" there are quite a few deals to be had.

$22.77 +
$8.95 S/H PLUS $3.95 per item for every order.
equals $35.67 delivered.

Looks like I missed the $15 rebate at OD, so was going to bite at it for $22.77 until the shipping and item charges.

Are all of these cordless deals now dead or expired? Targets been cleaned out of them for weeks now.
