IRQs are obviously a problem when it comes to running many devices.

Why is it that no motherboard is capable of having more than 15 IRQs? Is there a direct reason? (sorry, too tired to do actual research)
Would love to see extra IRQs as opposed to this crappy irq steering and ACPI

any thoughts?
