There is a SSH client called putty.exe for Win32 that is very good and it is free.

Putty will let you login and get a shell, it has nothing to do with file sharing. Although you could use the putty scp client to transfer files if you wanted to.

OSX has Windows file-sharing built-in through the use of Samba. Not having a Mac, I couldn't tell you quite how to do it, but you definitely shouldn't need any extra programs.

You can use PuTTY as suggested but the mac must have ssh enabled, by starting Remote Login in the Sharing preferences.

As already stated, you can simply share files via the network - it's far easier than what you're trying to do... just turn on Windows filesharing on the Mac, put the files in XYZ's home directory, and log into the Mac as XYZ from the Windows machine over the network, and you'll see all of those files in the home directory.

In finder, click Go -> Connect to Server. Then type in smb://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the ip address of the windows box. A window will pop up with all the shares on the windows box, and they can be browsed.
