I repartitioned a VM since the drive was too small. A really painful task, since one of the drives was SCSI and Acronis would not detect it, so I ended up doing it the long way and copying all the files over. For the OS I used Gparted which did pick up the drive and moved the partition over to the new disk, its the first partition, the data is 2nd. Same setup as before, exept its now 1 big IDE drive, instead of 2 seperate SCSI drives. This is in VMware so there should be no difference performance wise (they were on same physical IDE drive anywya,a tthe server)
Now when I go to log in, it just logs me right back out. Has anyone ever seen this before? I'm in the process of doing a reinstall now, but just find this weird that it did this to me. Not like any settings changed, just a partition transplant. This is win2k3 std. It also refuses to find the DC now, so pretty much can't do anything. I can ping it so I know it has network connectivity.
