I know this is a Networking Forum, but I thought this may be related somehow. I have a network setup here with computer hooked to a HUB. I am using MS ICS. When I login to a CS Server from my host machine, it displays my network IP(Ex. 192.168.0.1) instead of my provider IP (ISP). I thought you ISP IP was supposed to display on login to a CS server? Anyway to fix this??

Also, after playing on a CS server, I quit for a bit and try to join another server. The intialization screen moves slow and I time out. It doesn't connect to the CS server that I am trying to connect to. These 2 problems may be related, but I am not sure. Any idea on why this happens?

Thanks!!

It showing the 192.168.0.1 is understandable... If I had to guess, CS is looking at the IP address on the local machine (NOT the Cable/DSL router), and that is why it is showing 192.168.0.1..... About the other problem... Have you tried plugging the 1 PC directly into the Cable Modem? Does this remedy the problem.... If so, I'm guessing that it is Windows ICS causing the problem... To test my guess, find a friend or someone that has a Cable/DSL router, and plug that up to your Cable Modem and see if it works......
